A place to grow, serve, and be formed. The Orchard Church Internship Program is for people who want to grow in their faith, serve the local church, and learn ministry in a meaningful, hands-on way.

We believe the local church is one of the primary places God forms people for a lifetime of faithfulness. That formation happens through serving, learning, showing up, working hard, loving people, and being shaped in Christian community. Our internship is designed to give you real ministry experience while helping you grow spiritually, relationally, and practically.

Internship Specifics at Orchard Church

At Orchard, interns are not just helping us get things done. They are people we want to invest in. We want to help you grow in character, confidence, humility, and skill as you serve alongside our team and church family.

Our internship offers three areas of focus — Youth, Worship, and Events — each designed to give you real, hands-on experience in a specific area of local church ministry. Escondido literally means “hidden” or “tucked away” and is one of the best places in all of San Diego County to carve out your own niche. With arms wide open, we welcome all types of people. As a church we hope to help you find your place in God’s great story whether you love the faster pace of Grand Ave. Downtown or a quiet hike up in the Mountain near Dixon Lake.
