Light and dark, truth and lies, good and evil. While the world often feels like it’s filled with shades of gray, we all know that there are ways of living in the world that fill us with hope and joy, and there are ways of being that cause regret and despair. Join us in season three of our teaching series from the Gospel of John, Light in the Darkness, as we follow Jesus as he guides us on the path of life.
John 21:15-25 | Pastor Assad Saif
What happens when you make a huge mistake?
Have you ever made a mistake so big that you thought you had no way back to right relationship? I have been in that situation a few times. I wish I could say I have not. However, I have learned in these moments that the power of God has the ability to reconcile and restore relationships stronger than before. It is not easy. The personal price is high. And it is good, healing, and whole. It is only possible through the love, grace, and power of God.
How do you think Peter felt knowing he denied Jesus? The biblical account of Jesus restoring Peter is a powerful reminder of God's love and mercy for all of us. I cannot wait to share it! We are going to take a look at this on Sunday as we conclude our year long journey through the Gospel of John.
