Sermon Outline | Group Questions
Light and dark, truth and lies, good and evil. While the world often feels like it’s filled with shades of gray, we all know that there are ways of living in the world that fill us with hope and joy, and there are ways of being that cause regret and despair. Join us in season three of our teaching series from the Gospel of John, Light in the Darkness, as we follow Jesus as he guides us on the path of life.
The Gospel of John
Bible Text: John 16
From Pastor Assad Saif
I have needed lots of help...
When I first began my relationship with God, I remember looking at my life and knowing I needed help. I remember several times crying out to God, and experiencing a profound sense of peace, and hope. Little did I know I was experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit in my life on a moment to moment basis.
Since I began walking with Jesus, there have been a number of times in my life when I have needed supernatural help. I love that Jesus sends a "Helper." This week, we will be looking at John 16:5-15 at one of Jesus' promises. That promise was to send the "Helper" who also is the "Comforter," this is God's Spirit, also known as the Holy Spirit. I am looking forward to sharing all about that this Sunday!
