A Quick Word from Orchard Church as we discuss Easter Week.
What is Palm Sunday and why is it important?
Palm Sunday is the celebration of an event in the Bible called the Triumphal Entry, which is the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. What is amazing about Palm Sunday is that all four of the Gospels mention it. Did you know that was important? Some gospels mention some stories and some mention others, they do not always align, but they do all align on Palm Sunday. And today get to celebrate the Triumphal Entry, which amazingly begins just after Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead which we see in John 11.
