Sermon Discussion
- If you’ve seen God use something in your past to prepare you for some future ministry, what was it? How did He use it in your life?
- As you reflect on the Main Lesson, is there some part of God’s plan you’re struggling to trust Him with? Why has it been difficult? Is there some loss or pain from the past you’re struggling with in your heart that makes it hard to trust Him in the future?
- Ever been through a time when it seems like God hasn’t been in control? What were the circumstances? How did it impact you spiritually? Were you able to talk to God about it?
- What are you asking God’s help with right now? How has He answered you thus far? How do you keep trusting Him when the answer you desire doesn’t come about?
- Ever been through a time when you compromised your commitment to the Lord to stay out of trouble? What was the issue? How did it work out for you in the long run? How did the Lord confront it in your heart? What did you do?
- Sit quietly for a few moments and ask the Holy Spirit, “What’s the most important truth you have for me from the life of Daniel?”
