What does it mean to testify?

Sermon Discussion Questions for Your Life Groups

A quick note from Pastor Assad about this weekend.

The technical definition of testifying is to make a solemn declaration under oath for the purpose of establishing a fact (as in a court), or to make a statement based on personal knowledge or belief, to bear witness, or to serve as evidence or proof, or to express a personal conviction. As we continue in our sermon series "Discovering Jesus" we will take a look at both who Jesus is and what was said about him. We will be in John 1:6-18 and it will be awesome.
