Mother's Day 2024
In our house, we have celebrated Mother's Day in a variety of ways with various kinds of meals and gifts. One of my wife's favorite gifts were homemade cards from the kids. My wife, Summer and I were taking a look at old cards our kids have made her throughout the years and they are fantastic. These cards show the heart of a child toward the woman they learned to love and trust. Mother's day is an amazing day we get to celebrate the women in our lives who raised us. This is one of the reasons Mother's Day is celebrated internationally.
We take this day seriously at Orchard and I look forward to preaching about an awesome mom this Sunday. There are some amazing Mom's in the Bible! This week, I will be teaching on a woman named Hannah who exemplifies an amazing heart for God in 1 Samuel 1. See you this weekend!
