Mother’s Day

Sermon Discussion Questions for Your Life Groups

A quick note from Pastor Assad about this weekend.

Have you wondered what Jesus relationship with his mom was like?

On Mother's Day, I tend to think about my mom, my wife's mom, and many of the mothers who have showed love to me and others. This tends to cause me to ask questions like "What was Jesus' mom like?". We do not know much about Jesus' relationship with his mom was like, but we do have a story in the Bible of a unique interaction with Jesus and his mom.

This Mother's Day, we have an opportunity to study one of Jesus' famous miracles titled "The Wedding at Cana". In this passage, Jesus and his mom have an interaction that is very interesting. I cannot wait to study it this week in John 2:1-12.
