Sermon Outline | Group Questions
Light and dark, truth and lies, good and evil. While the world often feels like it’s filled with shades of gray, we all know that there are ways of living in the world that fill us with hope and joy, and there are ways of being that cause regret and despair. Join us in season three of our teaching series from the Gospel of John, Light in the Darkness, as we follow Jesus as he guides us on the path of life.
The Gospel of John
Bible Text: John 18
From Pastor Assad Saif
Have you ever been treated unfairly?
How many can you count? I can count so many, and I am sure you can as well. How do we handle these times? I wish I could say I always handled them well. I have not. This is why I am so grateful for the powerful example Jesus gives us. Jesus is more focused on carrying out the will of the Father than correcting the injustice he suffers through. That is a powerful example of faith, trust, and commitment!
This week we will be finishing John 18 and taking a look at Jesus before Pontius Pilate. I look forward to sharing with you this week! If you want to read ahead, take a look at John 18:25-40.
