Song Title: Battle Belongs
Verse 1
When all I see is the battle
You see my victory
When all I see is a mountain
You see a mountain moved
And as I walk through the shadow
Your love surrounds me
There’s nothing to fear now
For I am safe with You
Chorus
So when I fight I’ll fight on my knees
With my hands lifted high
O God the battle belongs to You
And every fear I lay at Your feet
I’ll sing through the night
O God the battle belongs to You
Verse 2
And if You are for me
Who can be against me
For Jesus there’s nothing
Impossible for You
When all I see are the ashes
You see the beauty
When all I see is a cross
God You see the empty tomb
Bridge
(An) Almighty Fortress You go before us
Nothing can stand against
The power of our God
You shine in the shadows
You win every battle
Nothing can stand against
The power of our God

And all the lost and lonely
And all the thieves will come confess
And know that You are holy
And know that You are holy
Chorus 1
And all will sing out hallelujah
And we will cry out hallelujah
Verse 2
All the hearts who are content
And all who feel unworthy
And all who hurt with nothin’ left
Will know that You are holy
Bridge
Shout it
Go on and scream it from the mountains
Go on and tell it to the masses
That He is God (yeah)
(REPEAT)

Song Title: Another In The Fire
Verse 1
There’s a grace when the heart is under fire
Another way when the walls are closing in
And when I look at the space between
Where I used to be and this reckoning
I know I will never be alone
Chorus 1
There was another in the fire
Standing next to me
There was another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
Of how I’ve been set free
There is a cross that bears the burden
Where another died for me
There is another in the fire
Verse 2
All my debt left for dead beneath the waters
I’m no longer a slave to my sin anymore
And should I fall in the space between
What remains of me and this reckoning
Either way I won’t bow to the things of this world
And I know I will never be alone
Chorus 2
There is another in the fire
Standing next to me
There is another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
What power set me free
There is a grave that holds no body
And now that power lives in me
Tag
There is another in the fire oh
Bridge
And I can see the light in the darkness
As the darkness bows to Him
I can hear the roar in the heavens
As the space between wears thin
I can feel the ground shake beneath us
As the prison walls cave in
Nothing stands between us
Nothing stands between (us)
Verse 3
There is no other name
But the Name that is Jesus
He who was and still is
And will be through it all
So come what may in the space between
All the things unseen and this reckoning
I know I will never be alone
I know I will never be alone
Chorus 3
There’ll be another in the fire
Standing next to me
There’ll be another in the waters
Holding back the seas
And should I ever need reminding
How good You’ve been to me
I’ll count the joy come ev’ry battle
‘Cause I know that’s where You’ll be

Our Rock the only solid ground
The nations rise and fall
Kingdoms once strong now shaken

Almighty God we lift You higher
You are the only King forever
Forevermore You are victorious

We lift the name of Jesus
From age to age You reign

SERMON NOTES with SCRIPTURE
SERMON SERIES: Investing In The Future
SERMON TITLE: Funding God’s Mission
TEACHER: Pastor Dennis Keating
PASSAGE: 1 Tim 6:11-19
____________________
SERMON NOTES
4 Key Principles:
- Four our hope on God’s Proven Faithfulness. (1 Tim 6:17; Prov 18:23;)
The Point: It is very easy for God to be replaced by gold. (Proverbs 23:4-5)
- Enjoy God’s Financial Blessings. (1 Tim 6:17) (Eccles 5:19; James 1:17)
- Invest in God’s Eternal Mission. (1 Tim 6:18; 2 Cor 9:11)
Our Main Challenge: Be a river of blessings for others and not just a reservoir of blessings for yourself.
- Prepares us for God’s eternal rewards. (1 Tim 6:19; 2 Cor 5:10; Matt 6:19)
Remember: You can’t take it with you, but you can send it ahead.

Sermon Text
11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, [a]perseverance, and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 I direct you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep the commandment without fault or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom [g]no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.
17 Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. 18 Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
